development, college courses, and career path programs. Some classes are
planned on a quarterly basis. Long-term or career
path programs are on-going.
Pre-registration is required for all classes.

Advancing Skills in English
This course is designed to further develop a
student’s English skills. Topics covered include reading comprehension,
grammar, vocabulary and study skills. |

English Skills for College
This course provides participants with
advance skills in essay structure, reading comprehension, inferences, and
main ideas. This class prepares students for English 1. |

Advancing Skills in Math
This course is designed to further develop
math skills in decimals, fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, as
well as word problems. |

Math Skills for College
This course provides participants with advance
skills in Algebra; including equations, integers, graphing, & word problems.
This class prepares students for college math. |

Computers in an English Context
This introductory class combines computer
training with English, to provide students with grammar and vocabulary skills
through the use of MS Word and MS Explorer. |
